Ria Meer is a first-generation Filipino-American theatre artist based in New York City. 

Ria's work has been featured on film, off-Broadway, and in digital media. Their creative practice is shaped by their multidisciplinary background in sex worker advocacy, graphic design, cultural archivism, and community care.

Ria is currently pursuing a master's degree in Theatre for Social and Civic Engagement at NYU Steinhardt, building upon training in the Meisner technique under Barbara Marchant at William Esper Studio. Their foundation in Gender and Women's Studies and Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley influences the way in which they imagine the future and approach storytelling.
